How to ask for relevant information from customers when placing an order

Sometimes you need to collect prior information from your customers to be able to prepare equipment for their booking. For example, when renting bicycles, knowing the height of the customer is relevant so you can adjust the saddle height in advance.

In Rentle, you can customize the information asked from your customers based on the product.

1. Navigate to Products > [Choose the product] > Settings
2. Scroll down to the section Customer information.
3. Toggle on the relevant information that you need and click Save.

You can also add custom fields to the checkout form in your online store.

Furthermore, if you want to collect delivery addresses from your customers in the online checkout, you can set up deliveries.
